David Silverman
Director
Derwent London plc
David joined Derwent Valley in 2002 and following its merger with LMS in 2007 was appointed to the Main Board of Derwent London plc in January 2008. Derwent is the largest central London focussed Real Estate Investment Trust, well known for its design lead philosophy. David’s responsibilities include overseeing the Group’s investment acquisitions and disposals. These have included a number of Derwent’s landmark buildings including 1-2 Stephen Street, Burberry’s Head Quarters at Horseferry House and Page Street and the recent purchases of Angel Square, 20 Farringdon Road and The White Chapel Building. David is chairman of the Chickenshed Property Company and a former chair of the Westminster Property Association.
Anna Bond
Portfolio Director for the London Estate
Grosvenor
Anna joined Grosvenor Britain and Ireland in 2008 and has led a number of different teams within our London Estate; she currently leads the London estate portfolio (location and operations team). These teams are responsible for asset, investment and property management. Before this Anna was Development Director for the London estate.
Prior to joining Grosvenor Anna was at DTZ in various development roles advising clients on maximising the value of their assets and undertaking acquisitions and disposals on their behalf.
Anna holds an honours degree in Land Management from the University of Reading and is a qualified member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
Alex Williams
Director of City Planning
Transport for London
Alex is the Director of City Planning at Transport for London.
His responsibilities are:
• Working with the Mayor to develop/deliver his Transport Strategy for London
• Develop and gain powers for major infrastructure projects such as tube extensions/new river crossings
• Provide transport advice on Land Use Planning applications referable to the Mayor; Manage relationship with London Boroughs
• Ensure our work is underpinned by a robust evidence base through modelling and analysis
Alex was formally appointed to the post in April 2017 having held it on an interim basis since April 2016. Before that he was Director of Borough Planning (from 2007). Prior to TfL he worked in LB Camden an LB Ealing.
Paul Lorraine
UK General Manager

Paul started his career in the ready-to wear industry, where he occupied various sales and management positions. In 2005, he joined Wolford as an area manager. A year later, he was promoted to Key Account Manager and became Managing Director of Wolford UK in 2007. In 2010, the Benelux was added to his scope of responsibilities. Paul joined Basler in 2011 as managing director of their UK affiliate. In 2013, he was appointed UK General Manager at Longchamp, and became president of the RSA two years later.
Debbie Jackson
Director - Built Environment
Greater London Authority
Debbie is Director of Built Environment at the Greater London Authority. In this role Debbie is responsible for the full range of the Mayor’s statutory Planning responsibilities alongside being the CEO-equivalent for LEAP – London’s Local Enterprise Partnership.
Debbie has worked for London Government for over ten years, playing a leading role in delivering positive outcomes for Londoners in partnership with the public, private and third sector. Debbie’s achievements include the development and delivery of programmes such as the Good Growth Fund, Crowdfund London, the Skills for Londoners Capital Fund and Good Growth by Design.
Previously, Debbie had roles in regeneration and street environment at Westminster and Lambeth local authorities and has a total of 22 years’ experience of working in London’s public sector.
