Hugh Seaborn
Chief Executive
Cadogan Estate
Hugh Seaborn joined Cadogan Estate as Chief Executive in 2008. Prior to this he was Chief Executive of The Portman Estate for 9 years where he repositioned the business as an active and committed landlord and investor.
Before heading up Portman, Hugh spent 10 years with CB Richard Ellis, latterly as Director and Head of Investment Management where amongst other things, he was responsible for investment portfolios on behalf of a variety of clients including institutions and property companies.
Hugh is a Chartered Surveyor, Chairman of TR Property Investment Trust plc and Chairman of the Knightsbridge Business Group. Hugh was formerly a member of the Council of the Duchy of Lancaster and past Chairman of the Westminster Property Association and past Chairman of the Estates Business Group. He was awarded a Commander of the Royal Victorian Order in the 2014 New Year Honours List.
Steven Norris
Former MP, Minister and Vice-Chairman of the Conservative Party and
Chairman, SOHO Estates
Steve has combined a career in politics with a business career in the fields of property, infrastructure and transportation. He is currently Chairman of Soho Estates, London Resort Company Holdings, This Land Cambridgeshire and Driver Group plc. He is a Non-Executive Director of Excel the East London conference and exhibition centre. He has been a member of the Boards of both Transport for London and the London Development Agency. He is on the Board of Cubic Corporation, the developers and managers of the London Oyster card. He chairs the National Infrastructure Planning Association which works with government to improve the planning regime around major projects and advises a number of clients on major schemes.
Amelia Staveley
Director of Development and Placemaking

Amelia Staveley MRICS is the Director of Development and Placemaking for the London estate. Amelia joined Grosvenor Britain & Ireland in 2007 and has held various asset management, investment and development roles in both Grosvenor Britain & Ireland and Grosvenor Americas. Her experience has included the delivery of NEO Bankside in London, 288 Pacific in San Francisco and most recently the leadership of the Capital Transactions team for the London estate.
Amelia holds a degree in Natural Sciences from Durham University and a Masters in Real Estate Appraisal from Reading University.
David Marks

David Marks co-founded Brockton Capital in 2005; the firm has raised over £1.50bn of equity across three separate funds since 2006, which supports a £4.0bn UK portfolio. Prior to co-founding Brockton, David worked at The Blackstone Group (2001-2005, in London) and JLL (1989-1999, in London and New York).
David holds a Masters degree in Real Estate Development from MIT, Boston and was President of the British Property Federation (“BPF”) in 2013-14. David is a member of the Bank of England’s Commercial Property Forum, the BPF Policy Committee and is a Trustee of the National Gallery.
Andrew Hynard

The Howard de Walden Estate
Andrew Hynard is Chief Executive of The Howard de Walden Estate, which he joined in October 2016. The Estate comprises 92 acres of principally residential, medical, office and retail property in Marylebone. It includes Harley Street and Marylebone High Street.
Prior to that he spent the majority of his career at Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), where he was UK Deputy Chairman.
He is a former Chairman of the Investment Property Forum, and currently chairs the RICS Commercial Property Forum. He is on the advisory board of Clipstone and the Tim Henman Foundation and a Trustee of University College of Estate Management and Tenterden and District Day Centre.
Judith Everett
Chief Operating Officer
The Crown Estate
As Chief Operating Officer, Judith is a member of the Executive Committee and leads on people, customer, brand, communication, engagement and resilience. Her focus is on shaping these central functions to ensure integrated activity that positions The Crown Estate as a progressive company, a significant contributor to the UK Treasury, and creating brilliant places through conscious commercialism – on land and on the seabed; attracting and retaining the best people to the business and building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Judith has led on communication and engagement activity across a range of sectors, having worked with Royal Dutch Shell, Scottish Enterprise, Threadneedle Investments and AstraZeneca.
A graduate of both Aberdeen and Edinburgh universities where she read International Relations and Business, Judith is a member of the CBI’s London Council.
Professor Tony Travers
Director of LSE London
Visiting Professor in the Department of Government
Professor Tony Travers is Director of LSE London, a research centre at The London School of Economics and Political Science. He is also a Visiting Professor in LSE’s Department of Government. His key research interests include local and regional government and public service reform.
Professor Travers is currently an advisor to the House of Commons Children, Schools and Families Select Committee and the Communities and Local Government Select Committee.
He has published a number of books on cities and government, including Failure in British Government: The Politics of the Poll Tax (with David Butler and Andrew Adonis), Paying for Health, Education and Housing: How does the Centre Pull the Purse Strings (with Howard Glennerster and John Hills) and The Politics of London: Governing the Ungovernable City.
