Andrew Kerr
Chief Executive
City of Edinburgh Council
Andrew Kerr took up post as Chief Executive of the City of Edinburgh Council on 27 July 2015. He was previously Chief Executive of Cornwall, Wiltshire and North Tyneside councils, and Chief Operating Officer in Cardiff. A former international athlete, Andrew’s professional background is in Leisure and Sport and he was Director of Leisure and Culture at Birmingham Council (2000/2004) and Head of Participation at Sports Council for Wales for six years. Known for his work on Social capital, with an interest in developing communities, a reputation for his approach to change management and large scale joint ventures for economic benefit, he is one of the most experienced local government leaders working today.
Clive Wilding

Clive Wilding is the Property Director at Artisan who are responsible for the £180ml mixed use development at New Waverely, with Phase 1 well under way and due for completion in 2016. Other large mixed use schemes the majority of which have a relative large % of residential and mixed creative uses are North Street Quarter, Lewes East Sussex, 16 acre site planned for 417 homes, 130,000 sqft.
Clive comes from an Agricultural Land Management background. He joined UK construction group M.J. Gleeson Group Plc where he soon rose to become Managing Director of Gleeson Homes where the business grew from a £20m turnover company to one with over £220m – constructing over 1200 homes per annum around the country. Clive has forged strong links with local authorities and government and has held founder board positions on the Housing Forum and other Public/Private partnerships.
Over the last 15 years working as Property Director for Raven, and after doing Joint Ventures with Artisan finally joined them in 2014, focusing on focusing on mixed use, city-led residential schemes.
David Yaldron
Director of Development, City Centre Developments
Grosvenor Britain & Ireland
David Yaldron is responsible for all of Grosvenor Britain & Ireland’s trading projects outside of Mayfair and Belgravia. This includes development and investment assets in the residential, office and retail sectors in the following locations: Dublin, Edinburgh, Liverpool, London and Southampton. These are held either directly or alongside a variety of joint-venture partners.
David joined Grosvenor in 2012. Prior to this he worked for Europa Capital where he was a senior member of the corporate finance team and the investor board representative on their corporate structured investments. His previous roles included Head of Investment Monitoring at Coller Capital and an Associate Director within KPMG’s Transaction Services Division.
