What we’ve lost:
When talking about the losses experienced from a working point of view, it’s about more than just the absence of a communal office. It’s about the things we didn’t realise the importance of, things we took for granted. Though on the contrary, perhaps some are worth losing?
What we’ve gained:
Although wins from this situation can be widely debated and surely vary from person to person, there are generally a lot of positives. It’s simply up to each and every one of us to actually see them.
Opportunities ahead:
Difficult situations can bring hardships in many different ways. That’s something we’re all aware of. But what happens afterwards? Do we create opportunity or obstacles?
Power of adapting:
The human ability to adapt is remarkable. And it’s something we’ve seen reoccurring throughout history as a response to challenges - and this one is no different.
EVENT SPEAKERS
Steve Edge
Founder & Creative Director
Edge Design Ltd
Steve Edge has always been surrounded by creativity. His father, an outsider artist, encouraged Steve to express himself and pursue his ideas from a young age.
This upbringing paved the way for his first major prize, a European Young Artist of the Year award, which quickly led to bigger and better things. Namely, a role in the art department for such seminal films as Star Wars and Raiders of The Lost Ark.
In 1985, Steve founded his own branding agency, Steve Edge Design, and over the past 30 years he’s worked with some of the world’s biggest names, from Christian Dior and Fortnum & Mason to Skanska, Cartier and Purdey Guns.
Steve puts his creative success down to his dyslexia, which allows him to see the world from new and original perspectives. He has spoken extensively on dyslexia and creativity, highlighting the importance of thinking laterally, not literally.
